Governance

Our Constitution

The Staff Council operates under a comprehensive constitution that outlines our mandate, structure, and procedures. This document serves as the foundation for all our activities and decisions.

Key Provisions

The Staff Council shall represent all staff members and serve as the primary liaison between staff and management on matters relating to working conditions, benefits, and workplace policies.

All permanent staff members are eligible to vote in Council elections. Representatives are elected for two-year terms with elections held annually for half of the seats.

The Council shall meet at least monthly. Special meetings may be called by the President or upon written request of one-third of Council members.

The Council may establish standing committees and ad-hoc working groups to address specific issues. Current committees include Benefits, Workplace Environment, and Professional Development.
