How it Works
SCO sends a delegation to the Regional Office, working within budget constraints to maximize outreach.
Country Focal Points from across the region gather at the Regional Office for a mini retreat to discuss local issues.

Helping staff parents guide their children toward the best academic opportunities.
The aim of the Education Fair is to enable parents to better guide their children in their academic and professional orientation. The first edition was held virtually on October 4β5, 2023, making it accessible to staff across all country and regional offices.

A key strategic partner in building a sense of belonging for AfDB families.
The Bank considers the Family Association a key strategic partner. It acts as liaison between Management and families, ensuring that families integrate not only with the communities where the Bank operates, but most importantly, with other families within the AfDB community.
The Staff Council supported the relaunch of this sister association in 2023. Two activities marked this restart:
